herbs and oilby ~BanWynn

Photography / Still Life / Food and Drink

Herbed oils are often sold as decorative items. These are actually used and are made with herbs grown on the farm and some of the oils are from the farm's own crops. I moved them to the windowsill for the shot and then replaced them in the cupboard so that the herbs would not go bad.

Thanks. I took about a dozen more standard compositional shots and then cut off the tops of the bottles and moved so that the window curtains came into view behind the clear bottle. I still had crop a bit off the bottom but ended up happy with the result.
